The island deserves its reputation as ‘Asia’s Miracle’, with the unmatched hospitality of the
islanders the icing on the cake. This program will provide adventure combined with breath taking
scenery, ancient worlds, fascinating safaris and glorious beaches. When you think of Sri Lanka
images of tea plantations, elephants, cinnamon, tropical monsoons and Golden beaches justifiably
spring to mind.

Travelling from Anuradhapura to Galle you will witness over 2000 years of history and visit
numerous World Heritage Sites and national parks. As you leave the West Coast to go to the
ancient city of Sigiriya, you will also be able to explore the surrounding parks. Kandy and Nuwara
Eliya give enchanting glimpses of ‘Old Ceylon’ that of the pioneering 19th century British tea
planters as well as Buddhism in Sri Lanka of which Kandy is the undoubted capital. Heading south
first you stop at Yala National Park the countries best leopard spotting area and then the intriguing
Dutch fort of Galle and its neighboring picture postcard beaches await. This is a trip that will bring
a lifetime of memories and a unique insight into the culture of Sri Lanka.


  • Day 01

Destination -: Airport – Negombo

Drive -: Approximately 20 mints

On arrival in Sri Lanka you will be met and assisted by our Airport Representative who will direct
you to Negombo,
Enjoy with the colorful boats in the lagoon and the ambiance of the area with its hotels,
restaurants, beer gardens etc (at Lewis Place) will be interesting. Of course we are not asking
him to get down or spend much time – merely to get “a feel” of the place.

Overnight Stay: at Goldi Sands Hotel in Negombo


  • Day 02

Destination -: Pinnawela – Sigiriya – Dambulla
Drive -: Approximately 4 hrs

After breakfast transfer to Dambulla,
En route visit the Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawala. The Elephant Orphanage, located on the
banks of the Maha Oya, is mainly to house young elephants who find themselves displaced and
lost from their natural habitats for various reasons – environmental changes due to development
projects, being abandoned by their parents when they fall into pits & ravines, etc. The most
interesting times to visit is at feeding or bathing time.
Climb the 5th century built UNESCO recognized world heritage site, Sigiriya Rock Fortress which
built by King Kashyapa (477-495 AD). A moat, rampart, and extensive gardens including the
renowned water gardens ring the base of the rock. Visit the world-renowned frescoes of the
‘Heavenly Maidens’ of Sigiriya which shows the real ancient Sri Lankan tradition with awesome

Destination -: Polonnaruwa

Drive -: Approximately 1 ½ hrs

After breakfast transfer to Polonaruwa,

`Visit the Medieval capital of Polonnaruwa, built in the 11th and 12th century is the 2nd capital of
Sri Lanka and is today one of the nine World Heritage sites that the island has to offer. You will
have the opportunity to see the ruins of the Royal Palace and the Gal Viharaya, the Parakrama
Samudra tank (lake) built by King Parakramabahu the Great are sites that you will explore while
your cultural tour in Sri Lanka.
Thereafter enjoy with Elephant Back Safari,
The Sri Lankan howdah, however, is a sturdy, no frills, padded and comfortable wooden platform
with metal rails about half a meter high (one and a half feet) all the way around and is securely
strapped onto the elephants midsection. You climb up steps to the top of a platform
approximately three metres high. Your ride is then led to the side of the platform where you step
into the howdah and position yourself, usually two on either side. With a firm grip on the rail, your
feet will be dangling over the side and resting against the belly of this big grey animal that now has
complete control of your wellbeing, for at least the next hour.

Destination -: Dambulla – Matale – Kandy

Buddha brought to Sri Lanka from the Kalinga province in ancient India in the 4th century AD. You

After breakfast transfer to Nuwara Eliya,

En route visit Peradeniya – Botanical Gardens was first built as a pleasure garden by a Sinhala king
and was expanded by the British. It is 147 acres in extent and provides an amazing variety of trees,
plants and flowers. Nobody forget to include this amazing attraction event for their holiday
packages in Sri Lanka.

Then visit Bluefield Tea Gardens to explore world’s best tea experience,
It is situated at approximately 1200 m above Sea Level in the town of RAMBODA. And it is
surrounded by quiet and scenically environment. We are warmly welcome you to visit our place
on your way to Nuwara Eliya.We are 66 Km from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya main road.

After breakfast visit world’s end via Horton plains
Horton Plains, located on a high windswept saddle at about 7,000 ft (2134 mtrs) elevation. The
plains are an expanse of misty grassland with scraggy trees and ice-cold rivulets. World’s End is
considered to be the finest view in all of Sri Lanka. The awesome escarpment drops vertically for
about 4,000 feet, hence its name was given. Plains are also famous for the greenery and the cold

There have two world’s ends one of the small worlds end and other one is big worlds end. The big
worlds end is higher than other gaps. You can Travel to this place via Nuwaraeliya,  Pattipola,
Ambewela road  or via Boralanda,   Ohiya road. If you see this place I trust you mutter above
words. There after this place become the real Worlds End because there is nothing to see down
side. You may think there is nothing world along here.
Thereafter visit Ambewala New Zealand farm and factory.

Destination: Nuwara Eliya – Yala

Drive : Approxi mately 3 ½ hours

After breakfast transfer to Yala National Park,

Then enjoy with the wildlife majesty at Yala,
The first journey to the campsite itself is a short Safari but the real Safari begins in the
evening. You will be back again at the campsite for an overnight stay after the evening
Two half days Safari tours provide many chances of seeing the Elephants, Leopards, Sloth
Bears, Deer, Crocodiles, wild buffalos, Jackal, mongoose and many varieties of Birds. You can
witness magnificent Sunrise with an early morning visit to the coastal boundary of the park.

Destination: Yala

Early morning you will departure from the hotel for the morning safari,
Today early morning Safari will provide you chances of spotting the Leopards. So we suggest you
to wake up early in order to have more time for the Safari and have a late breakfast.
Though you have a Safari on the second half day, during the noon most of the animals seek shade
inside the jungle and there will be less chances of seeing them in abundance during that time
which is an ideal time for you to relax at the campsite under a shade in a hammock. After
the second Safari you will be driven to the hotel.

  • Day 09

Destination: Yala – Wadduwa

Drive: Approximately 3 ½ hours


Breakfst at the hotel & transfer to Wadduwa,
En route you will visit Galle town & most popular Galle Fort,
Galle was once the chief port of Ceylon as Sri Lanka was named by the British. It is still well known
for hand-made lace, tortoise shell curios and ebony elephants. You can also visit the Galle fort
(spanning 90 acres), which was originally built by the Portuguese and later extended by the Dutch
in 1663. This is a world heritage site.
And enjoy with River safari around Madu Ganga River.
Then visit the Turtle hatchery which is being operated by the Wild Life Protection Society of Sri
Lanka. Several species of turtles, especially the endangered hawksbill are protected here. Most
vulnerable of all are their eggs, which are left uncovered on beaches all around the coast. The
goodwill of Kosgoda area fishermen who bring these eggs gratis to the hatchery has lead to the
hatching and has released around 100,000 young turtles within a period of two years since the
hatchery has been opened.
